How to find us

Our premises are in 229 London Road, the building to the left of Wycliffe Baptist Church. We can only be accessed through the Wycliffe Car Park.

From the East (on the A4 or A329M)

On London Road, immediately off the roundabout at the junction of the A4 & A329M, you pass under a railway bridge and a park is to the left. At Cemetery Junction continue straight on in the right hand of three lanes of traffic. At the traffic lights at the next major crossroads turn right into Eldon Road, and then right onto Kings Road. Stay in the left hand traffic lane past Reading College and take the second turning into Rupert Street. Turn right into Norwood Road and the entrance to the car park is on the right where there is a bend in the road.

Our entrance is the white door facing you on the right at the far end of the car park.

Alternatively there is a short cut through the streets of Newtown:

On London Road, immediately off the roundabout at the junction of the A4 & A329M, you pass under a railway bridge and a park is to the left. Take the 2nd possible right turn at the 2nd set of traffic lights into Cholmeley Road. Turn left into Amity Street. Turn left into Cumberland Road. The no-entry sign takes you into Orts Road which you follow round the bend to the left into Rupert Street. Norwood Road is on the left and the entrance to the car park is on the right where there is a bend in the road.

Our entrance is the white door facing you on the right at the far end of the car park.

From the Centre of Reading

Follow directions for East Reading & A4/A329 and take up the directions above as you pass Reading College.

By Bus

There is a bus stop outside the counselling centre which is next to Arthur Hill Swimming Pool on the Kings Road (Cemetery Junction) where a variety of buses from the town centre stop including: 17, 12, 13 and 14. To access our entrance at the rear of the building (Number 129) go down the side passage alongside Wycliffe Church through the gate signed “Communicare” and our white door is on the left in the corner of the car park behind the trailer.
