Philippi Trust Bolton offers a broad based, general counselling service. The model of counselling used is based on an integrative approach, integrating both Christian and secular practices. We are fully accepting of the counselee regardless of age, ethnicity or religion. We seek to bring a sense of peace, direction and contentment into the lives of the people we counsel.
Our counsellors are fully trained and supervised and come from different professional and Christian backgrounds. All counsellors receive regular ongoing training. The centre has disabled access and our rooms are comfortable and private.
Initially I was skeptical about going for counselling, but over the past few months my counsellor has provided a welcoming, warm and safe environment that has allowed me to explore many issues. I always feel able to share my thoughts and feelings within our counselling sessions without fear of being judged. Just knowing that the counsellor is listening with an open mind has helped me immensely and in so many different ways.
